The Old Marylebone Town Hall Wedding Photography: Capturing Your Love Story in London
“Tom was amazing from start to finish. Im not particularly comfortable in front of the camera and the thought of posing for pictures filled me with dread! Tom listened and took this on board. I said i preferred more “candid” type photos so he went away, showed me some examples of what he had in mind so that on the day i felt comfortable and knew what to expect (my other half loves the camera so he had absolutely no problems posing away). We also didnt spend loads of time just taking photos. We still got to see our family and friends and get them involved in pics as well. We’ve just received the edited pics and wow….Tom completely captured the day, the fun, the laughter. Looking through the pictures and seeing everyone’s joy was so amazing to relive. I cant recommend Tom enough, you wont regret it!”

A Picture-Perfect Day with Caron & Barry at THE Old Marylebone Town Hall
Capturing Caron and Barry’s wedding at The Old Marylebone Town Hall in London was an absolute joy. With its stunning architecture and timeless charm, the registry office offered the perfect setting for both intimate moments and creative, lively group shots. I was with Caron and Barry for just a few hours, but every minute was packed with emotion, laughter, and beautiful scenes.
Fun Group Shots to Kick Off the Day
Before the ceremony began, we gathered outside the town hall for some relaxed and fun group shots with the wedding party. Everyone was buzzing with excitement, which really showed in the photos. There’s something special about these pre-ceremony moments—they capture the thrill and anticipation that fills the air before a couple officially says “I do.” With London’s iconic streets and vibrant atmosphere as our backdrop, the group was all smiles and laughs, and their energy made for some unforgettable images.
This part of the day was a wonderful way to kick things off, and Caron and Barry’s friends and family brought so much personality to these shots. Everyone had fun letting loose, posing together, and celebrating in a carefree way. These early group shots really set the tone for the day, capturing the joy and excitement that carried through from the beginning to the end.
Stunning Couple Shots Around the Venue
One of the highlights of The Old Marylebone Town Hall is the endless array of beautiful spots it offers for photography, both before and after the ceremony. Caron and Barry looked incredible together, and I wanted to capture every bit of that against the stunning backdrop of the registry office. Before heading inside for the ceremony, we found several picturesque spots around the building—its grand steps, stately columns, and elegant architecture framed the couple beautifully. They were so natural together, and the photos reflect the warmth and connection they share.
The Ceremony: A Moment to Remember
As the time approached for the ceremony, the mood shifted to one of quiet anticipation. Inside The Old Marylebone Town Hall, the elegant surroundings set the perfect stage for Caron and Barry’s vows. The ceremony room, with its classic design and soft lighting, created a warm and intimate atmosphere for their exchange of promises. As the doors opened and Caron & Barry walked in, you could feel the emotion in the room—it was a powerful moment, and you could see the love between the couple at every glance.
A particularly touching moment came when Caron’s son stepped forward to deliver a speech during the ceremony. His words were heartfelt, expressing his support and love for the couple as they began their new life together. It was a beautiful reminder of the importance of family and the love that ties everyone together, making the ceremony even more memorable.
The ceremony was simple yet profound, with Caron and Barry sharing vows that left not a dry eye in the room. The joy was palpable as they exchanged rings, sealing their commitment with a kiss. The official moment when they were pronounced husband and wife was met with cheers and applause from their friends and family, who had gathered to witness this special occasion.
It’s always a privilege to photograph such an intimate and significant part of a couple’s day, and in this case, the ceremony was filled with such genuine emotion and beauty. These moments, as Caron and Barry became husband and wife, will be memories they’ll cherish forever and I’m so grateful to have been there to capture them.
The first moments of Mr & Mrs
After the ceremony, we took more time to explore the area, capturing some intimate portraits of just the two of them. The way they looked at each other and laughed together made my job easy. I love these post-ceremony photos; they’re a perfect way for newlyweds to savor the first moments of being married. Every glance, every hand-hold, and every laugh captured the happiness they felt as they started their journey together.

An Elegant Reception at The Ivy in Soho
Once we wrapped up our photos at the town hall, we made our way to The Ivy in Soho for a cosy, intimate reception. The Ivy, with its chic decor and lively atmosphere, was an ideal spot for Caron and Barry to continue their celebration. I stayed with the couple for about an hour here, capturing candid moments as they mingled with their guests
